Organic Herb Trading switches to Good Energy
Supporting positive environmental practices is important to us, and working with suppliers who complement our philosophies is very much part of our approach to the way in which we run our business.
As of 20th July, Organic Herb Trading is delighted to have made the switch over to working with Good Energy who now supply all of our 100% renewable electricity. We were keen to move to a more sustainable option, complementary to our business and beliefs, and Good Energy felt like the right fit for us. As a business, we work hard to contribute positively and reduce negative impact to the environment and have undertaken a number of projects over the last few years to further reduce our footprint. These include:
· Installing a 20Kw solar array on the warehouse roof
· Composting our milling waste and using this in the herb field
· Drawing our water from a bore-hole that we have sunk on the farm
Good Energy are also a sponsor of the Soil Associations ‘Organic September’ and a great supporter of the organic industry as a whole.
