Mummy's Organics was founded in 2020 by mother-daughter team Odette & Sara. Our line of wellness teas and natural skincare has been designed as a natural yet effective solution to common issues faced during maternity.

Herbs have been used for centuries as traditional medicine. All our products have been carefully blended with powerful herbs, such as Nettle for boosting iron levels, Fennel for easing digestion and Lavender for a good night’s sleep.

Odette is a practising midwife with over 20 years of experience. She began her midwifery training in 1999 at the prestigious Kings College London. Odette specialises in natural birth and is passionate about creating natural remedies for healing and wellness.

Growing up in a large family of mostly women, with both her mother and oldest sister being midwives, the passion for women’s health and wellbeing rubbed off on Sara. She wanted to create a sustainable wellness brand, which had not only been developed by experts but was also organic and eco-friendly.

How did your business start?

Mummy’s Organics all started with a tea – our Breast Milk  Booster! Odette has been making her clients this blend for over 15 years to help boost their milk supply. After continuous positive feedback from clients who loved it and had been asking to buy it for their sisters and friends, Odette and Sara decided to start Mummy’s Organics.

What is unique about your company?

Not only are all our products developed by a team of specialist midwives, but they are also natural, organic and eco-friendly.

A healthy planet supports a healthy body and mind. At Mummy's Organics, we care about our footprint, and our solid environmental values underpin everything we do.

Our tea packaging is 100% biodegradable and plastic-free. Our tea pyramids are made from Non-GMO sugar cane. The inner sleeves look and feel like plastic but are made from plant-based materials and can be home composted.

We aim to meet the needs of our customers but not in a way that comprises the planet for future generations to come. 

Who and where are your customers?

As you can tell by the name, our customers are mums. Our mums value ethically produced, natural and organic products. Many are looking for a natural alternative to solve their problems during pregnancy. For example, our bestselling Iron Boost Tea naturally boost iron levels, opposed to the commonly used synthetic tablets.

How’s the future looking for you? What are your plans?

Our aim for the future is to create more awareness about the effectiveness of plant-based products. We also hope to grow into a well-known brand for maternity wellness.

We currently buy the herbs used in all our teas from Organic Herb Trading. We love the high quality of our herbs and how visually appealing our blends look.

Why is organic/provenance important to you?

Using organic ingredients is incredibly important to us as it is better for our health and wellbeing. Also, it contributes to a greener and safer environment for us and generations to come.

What is your favourite cup of tea/or a long cool relaxing drink?

Our favourite tea is Mummy’s Organics Breast Milk Booster, made with oat milk and honey. Don't be put off by the name if you aren't a breastfeeding mum you will not produce breast milk!
