Herb Field - UK grown fresh and dried organic herbs

We grow more than 60 species of herbs in our two-acre organic Herb Field in the Somerset countryside.

Our herb field is really important to us, because it reinforces our values and reminds us of the practical challenges that suppliers face on a day-to-day basis. And of course, herbs are at their very best – both medicinally and in terms of taste – when they are fresh. 

The volume of herbs we grow represents a small proportion of our overall business, but there is strong demand for these high-quality products, and so we like to work with customers ahead of the growing seasons in order to ensure we can supply required volumes. We also dry many of the fresh herbs in our onsite drying barn so that we are able to provide stocks throughout the course of the year. Many of the fresh herbs are harvested and taken directly to our onsite Liquids Manufacturing facility where they are turned into herbal tinctures.

The Herb Field is run by Sarah Weston - a committed organic grower with a wealth of experience. Over the years Sarah has worked on a biodynamic research farm in Northern India, helped lead Jekka McVicar’s team to gold medals across the country – including the Chelsea Flower Show – and has also worked in commercial vegetable growing on an organic farm.

The minimum order quantity for fresh herbs is 5kg (per item), and dried herbs can be purchased in as little as 250g. You can find out more about typical seasonal availability of our herbs, here.
